Why Choose a Residential School?
Living in residence while attending school adds a special dimension to the student's academic experience. As students live with one another, they grow in their individual faith and with the community in such a way that is impossible to emulate in a regular high school setting.

The community spirit of sharing helps students develop the skills to meet the demands and pressures of daily life and relationships.

Residence living provides students with a supervised environment to assist the natural transition from home to greater independence.
LCBI is located on the banks of the scenic South Saskatchewan River at Outlook, Saskatchewan, a one-hour drive south of Saskatoon. The spacious 40-acre campus is a pleasant mixture of the old and the new.

The Girls' Dorm
The first building constructed on campus was Old Main in 1915. It is now the focal point of our campus and serves as the girls' dormitory. Renovations to the interior of the building have made it a pleasant home for the ladies in residence

The Boys' Dorm
The boys’ residence was built in 1976 and has the capacity to suit 52 students on two floors. The deans live in the building. Although all of the rooms are the same, each one is decorated to each person’s taste.

The School
Our classroom complex is our main administrative and classroom facility; it consists of classrooms, a study hall, resource centre, computer lab and two large science labs. Administration offices are located on two levels. A large portion of this building is brand-new. Construction of the large addition was completed in 1998, along with extensive renovations to the remainder of the building.

The Gymnasium
Our gymnasium is one of the largest and best-equipped in the province. It contains regulation basketball, volleyball and badminton courts with lots of room for spectators. The newly-built Bison Fitness Centre complements this facility. The gym is also used as an auditorium for large special events such as graduation, homecoming and major concerts.

The Chapel
The chapel and dining hall together make up the “H Building” on our campus. Daily chapel services are held for all students and staff in the chapel. The dining hall is well-equipped to handle the eating requirements of the campus. The 3,000 sq.ft. student centre is also located here. Students enjoy games, relaxing times and the canteen in a family-room environment.
