Rosthern Junior College
Rosthern Junior College is a Christian High School providing a quality grade 10-12 program within a Mennonite school community for students of any faith or culture.
Situated on a beautiful 17 acre campus in the town of Rosthern, 70 kilometers north of Saskatoon, Rosthern Junior College facilities accommodate numerous activities. Outdoor basketball, beach volleyball, tennis courts, a soccer field, ball diamond, football field, and an indoor arena host a variety of athletic activities. There is also a gazebo and fire pit for quiet times and student gatherings.
All of these facilities surround the student residence which also houses the cafeteria and student centre with a TV room, games room and a quiet sitting area. The lower level of the residence has a theatre which was built for guest speakers, dinner theatres, drama classes, performances, special lectures, and student movie nights.
The school is a short walk from the residence and has large classrooms, a Chapel, a library, computer lab, science labs, weight room, and a gymnasium which serves both our indoor sporting and performing arts needs. All facilities, both in the school and the residence, are wheel-chair accessible.
As a Christian educational community within the Anabaptist Mennonite tradition, Rosthern Junior College understands that the education of children and young people is a shared responsibility of the school, the home and the church. We strive to integrate sound academic learning, growth in character and faith, peacemaking and service to God and all creation. This educational endeavour is upheld and under girded by our Christian values. We are convinced that learning, at its best, occurs when academics are bound together with faith and positive relationships and where the focus is the development of the whole person.
RJC offers a program of academic excellence which enables students of all abilities to achieve academic success by providing opportunities and supports for study and learning. This program is recognized by both Saskatchewan Learning and institutions of higher learning,
